On the right you can see the cabinet used for the storage liqueur bottles. The cabinet is fixed to the wall like a painting is being hung to the wall with a hook behind it. This way there are no connections visible between the wall and the cabinet. When the wall is completely flat this gives a nice look.
In the cabinet I fitted a 36 Watt TL with a blue filter. This light gives the cabinet a lounge atmosphere and it lights up the bottles.
Before I made the cabinet in real I made a 3d model in Solid works 2005 to have all the measurements right before I had the MFD saw at the D.I.Y.shop.
This Solid works file makes it possible to see the inside of these cabinets without getting them of the walls. Download here the Solid works file.
I made two exactly the same so when hung like this they lengthen the room.
In the evening they provide nice lighting.
