The picture on the left shows my desk. I have chosen to add a platform for my monitor, First the top of the monitor has to be at the height or just below the height of your eyes. And this gives extra space on the desk underneath platform to store e.g. a scanner.
I also fitted an extension table under the tabletop. The height from the floor to the top of this table is adjusted to my posture. When I use the extension table the distance from my eyes to the monitor screen is better than with normal positioning (90cm). This extension table is also very handy when I need more space for books or readers.
