The "bar" I made for my kitchen is simple and straight forward. It has some nice features thow. the first are two ventilation grills for the warmth the refrigerators produce. They are placed in the black line so don't attract the attemtion and are hardly noticable. All the edges are covered with aluminum. And because the black line is in an angle the bar doesn't look big when you pass by it.
Underneath the bar there is place for two refrigerators and a garbage bin. The sides of the bar are a little higher than the work space. This way food will stay within this region and not in the room behind. By painting this edge in a bright red everyone tries to keep the food away from it be intuition.
The garbage bin is on the side of the work space and all the garbage can be shoved in the bin directly from the work space. The way the garbage bag is hung underneath the sink is by folding the bag around a metal frame, which will slide under the sink. This way the garbage bag won't smell that muck because it is nearly completely air tight.
The sink height is at 100cm. which is a good cutting height for me and the refrigerators are less high, so there is space left Under the sink. This was the main reason I made a drawer for all the kitchen appliances and tools. Afterwards I am very happy with this because I use it a lot.
